Turkish airstrikes in Kurdistan to be protested across Switzerland

The Turkish army simultaneously bombed Maxmur and Shengal (Sinjar) in South Kurdistan and Derik in Rojava at night on February 1.

The Kurds have taken to the streets in many European countries to protest the deadly Turkish airstrikes. Protests will be staged in at least 9 centres in Switzerland during the day (Feb.2).

The locations and times of the protests in Switzerland today are as follows:

Geneva: In front of the UN Office, 13:00

Zurich: Rathausbrücke, 14:00

Lausanne: In front of Saint Laurent Church, 17:30

Lucerne: Hauptbahnhof, 17:30

Bern: Bahnhofplatz, 17:30

Solothorn: Bahnhofplatz, 18:00

Winterthur: Bahnhof, 18:00

Basel: Claraplatz 18.00
