Access to website of Kurdish-language newspaper Xwebûn forbidden

The Information Technologies and Communications Authority has issued a decision, dated  28 January 2022 and numbered 490.05.01.2022-93453, to ban access to the website of the weekly Kurdish newspaper Xwebûn, with the domain name “xwebun.org”.

Xwebûn started to be published on 22 December 2019 in the Kurmanci and Kirmanchki dialects of Kurdish.
