Six rockets hit international airport in Baghdad

Security sources said six rockets were fired at Baghdad airport.

They added that the rockets fell on the parking area and runways. There were no injuries in the attack, but one plane was damaged.

On 5 January, rockets were fired at the Ayn al-Assad airbase, where American forces are located, in Anbar province.

There have been numerous drone and rocket attacks against American troops and interests in recent months.
