Prosecutor releases two people detained after racist attack on Kurdish students

Two people, who were detained after a mob of 30 attacked three Kurdish students in front of Ankara University Faculty of Law on Sunday evening, were released by the prosecutor’s office.

Around 30 people belonging to fascist and racist groups attacked three Kurdish students with a knife on Sunday evening.

Two of the racist attackers were detained. Lawsuits were brought against racists named Isa Kök and Fatih Temel, who attacked students with knives and machetes at Ankara University Faculty of Law. Despite this, the prosecution quickly released both of them. It was not known whether any other arrests were made.

K.Y, who was injured in the attack, was taken to the Cebeci Martyr Birol Özteki Police Station Headquarters after stitching his wound at the hospital and his statement was taken.
