Şenyaşar family: “When we stand up against injustice, we will see that everything is better”

The Justice Vigil carried out in front of the Urfa Courthouse since 9 March 2021 by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attack of AKP Deputy Ibrahim Halil Yıldız’s bodyguard and relatives, on 14 June 2018, has reached its 306th day.

Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit, who survived the attacks in Suruç, are carrying out the vigil at home on the weekends.

The Şenyaşar family posted a statement on their social media accounts and touched on the news that about 500 people resigned from AKP in Suruç. “People in Urfa want injustice and this persecution to end. As this persecution continued, 500 members of the AKP resigned in Suruç. We will see that everything is better when we oppose the injustices and unlawfulness.”
