Justice Vigil by Şenyaşar family reaches day 300

The Justice Vigil carried out in front of the Urfa Courthouse since 9 March 2021 by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attack of AKP Deputy Ibrahim Halil Yıldız’s bodyguard and relatives, on 14 June 2018, has reached its 300th day.

Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit, who survived the attacks in Suruç, are carrying out the vigil at home on the weekends. But today Emine Şenyaşar is alone in the house as her son Ferit went to Istanbul to attend the BMG-United Struggle Forces’ forum called “We will win if we unite against poverty, exploitation and unemployment”.

‘Justice will come in 2022’

The family posted a new message on their social media account saying: “Our struggle for justice continues in Istanbul on the 300th day. Today, we will attend the public forum organized by the BMG with the slogan RIGHT! LAW! JUSTICE! The justice we seek will come in 2022! “
