Şenyaşar family: Justice is under the rule of tyrants

Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons in a massacre carried out by AKP Deputy İbrahim Halil Yıldız’s bodyguards and relatives in Suruç district of Urfa on 14 June 2018, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who was injured in the same attack, continued their justice vigil in front of Urfa Courthouse on its 290th day. The family comes to Urfa Courthouse, 42 km away from their house in Suruç, early in the morning every day, and continue the vigil on the area called “Şenyaşar family justice corner”.

Today, the family shared the following on their social media account; “Justice is the religion of a state. Currently, the religion is being used as a political instrument, and justice is under the rule of tyrants. The doors of the courthouse are only open to those with power. A mother has been waiting for a miracle in front of a courthouse for 290 days.”
