Jineology Academy publishes the book “Historical foundations and future of the women’s revolution”

In the book “Historical foundations and future of the women’s revolution”, Jineology Academy aims to introduce the knowledge that women have in all societies throughout history by conducting research on subjects such as history, society and culture.

The Academy presented the book at a celebration in the Qamishlo Reading Garden which was attended by dozens of political, cultural, legal, social and women’s institutions members.

The 613-page book has been worked on since 2016 and is written in Kurdish.

The Academy analyses in detail the historical process of the women’s revolution from natural society to the Northern and Eastern Syrian Revolution. While the book was being prepared, it was discussed with the military, political, cultural and social personalities of the region.

Jineology Academy member, Şervîn Nûdem, shared the following information about the book: “This book was published after much research on women’s reality in Northern and Eastern Syria, the sociology of freedom and related research.”

Nûdem said that the book interprets the Neolithic period or natural society as the first women’s revolution that continues until today in many fields such as culture.

Nûdem explained that the book includes sections on society and women that deal with the imposition of the male-dominated mentality, its effect on democracy, and how it can be resolved by the fragmentation of the Middle East geography.

In the third part of the book, attention is drawn to the impact of the Kurdistan Revolution on women and society in general, and the achievements of the July 19 revolution.
