SOHR: Three Syrians were burned to death in Turkey

Citing local sources, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that three Syrian young men were burned to death by a Turkish citizen more than a month ago.

On November 16, the Turkish man set fire to the Syrian young men after pouring gasoline, in Güzelbahç in Izmir city, according to the sources.

The sources added that racial motivation was behind the crime and there was no dispute between the victims and the Turkish man, as the young men were working in a workshop for the manufacture of stone for sidewalks,

The killing took place amid a media blackout, while the results of the investigations have not been disclosed so far.

On December 13, SOHR activists documented the killing of a young Syrian woman by a Syrian suspect in Urfa province in Turkey.

According to sources, the young woman “Salma Hindawy” is 22 years old was a nurse in a Turkish hospital. She was a widow and had a daughter, while the suspect is still at large.
Local sources have reported that the young woman was killed for her repeated refusal to the suspect’s marriage proposal.
