YPG announces the death of two fighters

The People’s Defence Units (YPG) announced the death of two fighters. The statement of the YPG Press Office reads: “The revolutionary struggle against reactionary conditions and the occupation in Western Kurdistan and Northeastern Syria continues with great resistance. Our martyrs are our essential values, because they have provided for the emergence and development of the revolution. With Şehîd Roj and Şehîd Şervan, we once again respectfully remember all the brave martyrs. Our struggle against the Turkish occupation and ISIS will continue. Today, more than ever, our people stand behind our struggle and our martyrs. Our companion Roj played an active role in this struggle and was killed in an operation against ISIS in Deir ez-Zor. Heval Şervan fell in an accident during his training in Hesekê.”

Roj Şengal’s real name was Seyf Ibo and he died on 16 December in Dişîşa in the Deir ez-Zor region. The fatal accident of Şervan Şedadê (Efram Qasim Sevmê) occurred on 9 December in Hesekê.
