Erdoğan replaces deputy Ministers of Treasury and Finance
Following the publication in the Official Gazette, it was announced that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made some changes to the Ministry of Treasury and Finance.
While Ercan Gül and Mehmet Hamdi Yıldırım, deputy Ministers of Treasury and Finance, were dismissed, Mahmut Gürcan and Yunus Elitaş were appointed in their place.
Abdullah Bayazit, General Manager of Public Finance of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, and Ahmet Yalçın Yalçınkaya, General Manager of Economic Programs and Research, were also dismissed.
Three new appointments were made to the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BDDK). Yakup Asarkaya was appointed as BRSA Vice President, Mustafa Balcı and Olcay Turan were appointed as BRSA members.
