Police detain students in Ankara

Students wanted to organize a forum on poverty and economic crisis in the canteen of Ankara University (AU) Faculty of Political Sciences.

However, the police attacked the students by blocking them. Turkish police claimed my forum was an “unlawful act”.

Many students were detained using violence. The number or names of those detained could not be learned.
