Feleknas Uca: Stop attacking the Yazidis

Making a statement on her social media account after Turkish warplanes bombed the Xanesor People’s Assembly on Saturday night, Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) deputy co-chair Feleknas Uca said: “Why this hostility towards the Yazidis?”

In her post, Uca said: “Why this hostility towards the Yazidis? What did the Yazidi people do to you, what kind of threat do they pose to you?

Turkey bombed the Yazidi settlement area of Shengal in South Kurdistan (North Iraq) on Saturday. The target of the air strike at around 7.30 p.m. local time was the seat of the People’s Council of the town of Khanasor (Xanesor).
