Police attack students trying to reach Ankara for ‘We can’t shelter’ protest, detain 30

The action that the ‘We Can’t Shelter Movement’ wanted to carry out in Ankara Ulus Square was attacked by police.

Young people, who set off by bus from Izmir and Istanbul, were stopped by hundreds of police at the entrance of Ankara.

The police did not allow the young people to enter the city center and attacked them.

Police detained more than 30 people using violence.
