HSM Headquarters Command commend guerrillas for successful action in Zap

People’s Defense Center (HSM) Headquarters Command sent a congratulation message to Medya Defense Areas Dispatch and Administration Command for the successful action carried out by guerrillas in Zap. The message read: “The revolutionary operation developed against the enemy force in Girê Martyr Munzur in the Zap province in your area of responsibility was a successful operation. This action, which was carried out in retaliation for the martyrdoms in Zagros and most recently in Dersim, began with the besieging of the enemy on 8 December. Then, on the night of 9 December the target was destroyed in a short time with a sudden attack coming from 5 different branches, and the weapons and military equipment of the invaders were seized. The result of the action, with no loss, reveals the level of success of the planning. We congratulate the Zap State Command and all the troops that contributed to this action, in the person of your command, for this successful revolutionary operation, and we look forward to your continued success.”

The statement continued: “The fact that the enemy hides his own losses, with lies about having replied and killed some of our guerrillas cannot hide this successful revolutionary truth! With such psychological warfare methods aimed at deceiving Turkish society, the fascist regime will not get anywhere.

It is certain that our move “Dem Dema Azadiyê” will be victorious on the basis of the continuation of such successful actions. With this belief, we once again salute all the comrades and all Zap forces participating in the Zap Revolutionary Operation, and wish them great success in the sacred struggle for freedom and democracy.”
