At least four minors among those detained in Nusaybin

As part of an investigation launched by the Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office in Mardin, police forces stormed several houses in the Fırat neighborhood of the Nusaybin district early Sunday morning.

During the operation, which was participated by special operations teams as well, many people including four minors, were taken into custody. Police forces conducted a detailed search in the targeted houses and seized the cell phones.

12 houses were stormed during the course of the operation. The detainees were taken to the anti-terror branch of the Mardin Police Directorate.

One of those detained in Nusaybin today, 17-year-old F.A. was reportedly receiving treatment at home after undergoing surgery in the wake of a traffic accident 10 days ago.
