PUK: Perpetrators of attacks on Bulut and Kondu have been captured

The perpetrators of the attacks on Yasin Bulut and Ferhat Barış Kondu in Sulaymaniyah have been apprehended, according to the intelligence service of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK). A spokesman for the Zanyarî intelligence service, Ejî Emîn, stated, “The perpetrators of the attacks in Sulaymaniyah over the past two days have been captured. We will inform the public in detail about the perpetrators shortly.” He added that the authority had documents and important information on the attacks.

Yasin Bulut (Şükrü Serhat) had been a PKK member since 1978 and was shot dead in the open street on Friday morning on his way to the hospital. The PKK blames the Turkish intelligence agency MIT for the murder. Ferhat Barış Kondu is a political refugee from Turkey and was shot at his workplace on Thursday. In his case, too, the Turkish state is suspected to be behind the attack.
