Cizre basement victims’ mother, Esmer Tunç, taken into intensive care

Esmer Tunç, the mother of Cizre People’s Assembly co-chairman Mehmet Tunç and his brother Orhan Tunç, who were murdered in the basements of Cizre during the curfew declared on 14 December 2015 in the city, was taken to Şırnak State Hospital on 3 September. She had symptoms consistent with coronavirus. However, the test taken at the hospital was negative. Tunç suffered respiratory failure and was taken into intensive care as her health worsened.
