Mardin Peace Mothers Council calls for unity against the Turkish invasion of South Kurdistan

Members of the Mardin Peace Mothers Council called for unity against the Turkish state’s invasion attacks against South Kurdistan.

The Peace Mothers reacted to the attacks of the invading Turkish state against South Kurdistan and to the aggressive stance of the KDP and called for unity against the attacks.

Perihan Altuğ, a member of the Peace Mothers Council, said: “Our aim is to call for peace and unity. We will always be on the streets for unity.”

Stating that the operations in the region and the attitudes of the KDP should be opposed, Altuğ said: “I am calling out to the Kurds living in the South. You too, raise your voice. Let’s be a voice together. Let’s say unity together.”

Speaking afterwards, Peace Mother Besna Günay, said that they did not want war and called for a solution.
