Xelil Ebdo: Self-defence is our sole baseline

The invading Turkish state continues its attacks on North and East Syrian territories, and the international forces, especially Russia, keep their silence against the invasion attacks.

Xelil Ebdo, member of the Syrian Democratic Council (MSD) General Affairs Committee, spoke about the current political developments, and pointed out that the Turkish state intends to invade new regions in North and East Syria.

“The Turkish state seeks to carry out its plans, changing the demographical structure in the region. Moreover, it settles migrants from various regions of Syria into occupied regions, and uses them as gangs,” said Xelil Ebdo.

Pointing out that the Turkish state benefits from Syrian gangs in attacking North and East Syria and tries to interrupt the stability in the region, Xelil Ebdo remarked that the invading Turkish state constantly threatens North and East Syrian territories in order to carry out the agreements with Russia and the USA. He added, “Despite the existence of Russia and the USA in the region, the Turkish state has not ceased its threats against the region.”

Xelil Ebdo lastly stated that the Syrian Democratic Council is based on self-defence and unity of peoples, Internal Security Forces and military and political organisations in North and East Syria.
