YPG pays tribute to martyr Botan

The YPG Press and Liaison Center (YPG-BIM) released the identity information of Hogir Narîn Botan, who fell as a martyr on 26 August due to health problems.

The statement said: “Our comrade Hogir Narîn Botan fell as a martyr in Hesekê on 26 August due to health problems. Comrade Hogir was born in a patriotic family. He joined our ranks during the development of the freedom struggle in Rojava and Northern Syria. Heval Hogir, known for his hardworking, self-sacrificing and quiet personality, carried out his revolutionary work with great responsibility until the last moment and fulfilled his duty with great passion.”

The statement added: “We commemorate all the heroic martyrs with respect in the person of Comrade Hogir. We offer our condolences to the martyr’s family and our people.”
