Kurdistan Martyrs’ and Missing Families Association (KOMAW) held its 6th congress in Dortmund.
The congress was dedicated to Bavê Hîsen, who served as co-spokesperson in the previous term and died this year of Covid-19.
Nearly 200 families of martyrs and delegates attended the congress held at the Kurdistan Alevi Association in Dortmund. The congress, which started with a minute’s silence, continued with the election of the council.
Messages were given on behalf of KCDK-E, European Kurdish Women’s Movement, Kurdistan Alevi Union, Yazidi Federation, Kurdistan Islamic Movement, Heyva Sor a Kurdistan. The work of the past term was evaluated by delegates.
The congress ended with the election of the new executive committee and the definition of the work schedule.
