Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Ağrı Provincial General Assembly member, Mehmet Birdal, went to Iran for trade six days ago. Since then, no contact has been possible. His family said that they were worried because they could not reach Birdal, which was flying from Istanbul Airport to Tehran.
In the last phone call Birdal made with his family, he said that he had arrived to the Gürbulak Border Gate in Doğubayazıt district and that he would enter the country from there.
