Turkmen forces torture workers from Maxmur

Five workers who live in the Maxmur Refugee Camp and work in Sulaymaniyah, were detained by Iraqi Turkmen forces in the Pirde region of Kirkuk while returning to their homes.

The workers, who were detained on August 24 and taken to an unknown location in Kirkuk, were tortured for days.

The workers who were later transferred from Kirkuk to Baghdad have returned to their homes after being released yesterday.
