Jazira health institutions condemn Turkish attacks on Shengal

The Health Committee in Jazira Region, the Association of Doctors and the Association of Pharmacists made a statement on the Turkish bombardment against the hospital in Shengal. The institutions fiercely condemned the inaction of international public opinion.

The statement was read by İqbal Salih, co-chair of Jazira Health Committee, in front of Qamishlo Heart and Eye Hospital.

The statement included the following;

“Two days ago, fighter jets of the fascist Turkish state bombarded a hospital in Shengal. As a result of the attack, a large number of civilians lost their lives and many were injured. We fiercely condemn this inhumane attack. All states in the world and human rights organisations should fulfil their responsibilities against these brutal attacks.”
