HTS storms the house of a Turkish jihadist in Idlib countryside

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that the security service of Tahrir al-Sham has stormed the house of a Turkish emigrant in al-Hamamah village in the northern countryside of Jisr al-Shughur, where the security service clashed with the house’s inhabitants who showed desperate resistance. HTS security services managed to arrest two people from the house, but the fate of the Turkish jihadists remained unknown, SOHR said.

According to SOHR sources, the Turkish jihadist has  recently moved to al-Hamamah village, and he is wanted by the Turkish Intelligence.

On June 1, HTS security services arrested four jihadists from Jisr al-Shughur city in the western countryside of Idlib for unknown reasons. According to SOHR sources, the arrested jihadists belonged to the “Ansar al-Islam” faction.

On May 29, SOHR activists reported seeing members of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham on high alert in order to arrest some suspects for “supporting the Syrian regime”.
