HDP MP Hüda Kaya pays visit to Şenyaşar family

Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were killed in a massacre organized by the bodyguards and relatives of AKP Deputy İbrahim Halil Yıldız, and his son Ferit Şenyaşar, who was injured in the same attack, continue their justice vigil launched in front of the courthouse in Urfa on March 9.

HDP MP Hüda Kaya and her family visited Ferit Şenyaşar during today’s vigil which mother Emine Şenyaşar could not attend due to health problems. Kaya was accompanied by the lawyers of the Şenyaşar family and members of the Association of Lawyers for Freedom (ÖHD) Urfa Branch.

The HDP deputy made a statement in front of the courthouse where the vigil continued. Noting that the family has been subjected to persecution, Kaya said: “We reiterate once again that we will endorse their struggle for justice. We will continue to fight until all those responsible are brought to account.”

Following Kaya’s speech, Ferit Şenyaşar spoke about the attacks and obstacles that they have been subjected to during 156 days of the vigil.
