Police take HDP Muş provincial co-chair Nergiz into custody

According to the information received, the house of HDP Muş provincial co-chair, Belma Nergiz, was raided by the police this morning.

Nergiz, who was taken into custody, was taken to the HDP Provincial Organization building, to be present while police searched the offices.

While the HDP co-chair was later taken to the Provincial Security Directorate TEM Branch, a four-day detention order was issued by the prosecutor’s office.

The reason for the detention was not disclosed.
