People protest against Turkish attacks in Manbij

Hundreds of people have protested in Manbij against the crimes of the Turkish state and its jihadist mercenaries. During a demonstration from the Mîzan crossing to the center of the northern Syrian city, Suhîl Walî from the board of Manbij Education Committee said, “We condemn the attacks of the Turkish occupying state and its gangs on the areas in northeastern Syria. The bombardment of the occupation forces is killing civilians.”

Azab al-Abud of the Syrian Future Party said in a speech that the Turkish government has been using the Syrian crisis for its own interests since the beginning: “The Turkish state wants to occupy the region once again and revive the Ottoman era. To expand its zone of occupation in Syria, it supported ISIS gangs at the beginning, and now it supports ISIS cells and other jihadist groups.”

Nesrin al-Ali, spokesperson for the Zenûbya women’s community, pointed to the occupiers’ attacks on civilian homes in the outskirts of Manbij and condemned the deadly attack on a family in Ain Issa.
