Aydeniz: AKP-MHP government regards Kurds as enemies

DTK (Democratic Society Congress) Co-chair Berdan Öztürk, Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Co-Chair Saliha Aydeniz, Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Hakkari Deputy Sait Dede and a delegation of party members visited shopkeepers in Hakkari Industrial Estate as part of the “Time for Freedom” campaign.

The delegation was welcomed with interest by the shopkeepers. Speaking here, DBP Co-Chair Saliha Aydeniz stated that the economic crisis has deepened in Turkey as a result of the AKP-MHP’s “security” policies. “This government has nothing to say to the public and tradesmen in terms of economy,” she said.

“However, the government prolongs its life through its policies of oppression and tyranny. Moreover, the AKP-MHP government regards the Kurdish people, women, men, young and old, as their enemies. It doesn’t matter with whom you work. Currently, everyone who works in the public sector is also an enemy for the AKP. The AKP considers even those who support itself as an enemy,” she added.

The campaign will continue with family visits.
