‘Our unity is the assurance for the Autonomous Administration’

People living in the northeastern town of Shaddadi stated that the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria became an umbrella for all peoples living in the region, and they will enhance the struggle for the Autonomous Administration to be recognized by the international forces.

Resident Ewad Eziz expressed that everyone in North-East Syria dreams of the recognition of the Autonomous Administration. Remarking that the Autonomous Administration project never favours anyone and always presents an equitable approach for everyone, Ewad Eziz said, “This project is a model of solution for the whole Middle East. Progression of this model can inspire great breakthroughs in the Middle East.”

İbtihal El Xeşuf, member of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) Organisation Bureau, said, “People in the region base on no external force. They get strength from the unity of the peoples. These people have paid high costs for an honourable life. We will forever stand with the Autonomous Administration and Democratic Nation projects which have created a new history. We demand the Autonomous Administration to be recognized in the international arena. We will continue to enhance the struggle to this end.”

Ehmed El Cidi, member of the PYD Educational Committee, pointed out the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the Autonomous Administration project and stressed that peoples have united and secured this project. Expressing that the Autonomous Administration paid attention to the interests of all ethnic and religious groups in North and East Syria, Ehmed El Cidi said, “We should be aware that all states could withdraw their support when their own interests come into question. Therefore, we should follow the path of our martyrs and continue to struggle with the power based on our unity.”
