‘Attacks against liberated villages prove their defeat’

The invading Turkish state and allied mercenary gangs continue to attack the liberated villages in the east of al-Bab. The attacks are causing serious material damage in the region. In July, civilian settlements had been targeted in Kawkili, Korhiyok and Qert Wêran villages.

Nadir El Meşluq, an official in al-Bab Military Council, assessed the issue for ANHA and remarked that the Turkish state’s attacks on the liberated villages prove their defeat.

‘The international community supports the Turkish state by remaining silent’

Expressing that the Turkish state aims to interrupt peace and stability in the region, Nadir El Meşluq said, “The Turkish state supports terrorism thanks to the silence of the international community. Providing military and logistic support, it uses the gangs for its own interests. People in the villages of occupied al-Bab continuously hold protest actions against looting and robbery because these regions are under the control of the gangs. People have neither peace nor security.”

‘We want to liberate the villages under occupation’

Nadir El Meşluq addressed the people of al-Bab, saying, “We continue to resist for our people under the Turkish state’s occupation. We, as al-Bab Military Council, follow the path of our martyrs. We will liberate the villages under occupation.”
