YBŞ pays tribute to fallen fighter Qehtan Şivan Murad

As reported by the general command of the YBŞ (Yekinêyên Berxwedana Şengal) resistance units, their fighter Qehtan Şivan Murad lost his life as a result of a traffic accident. According to YBŞ, the accident occurred three weeks ago in Shengal. He lost his life on Sunday because of his serious injuries.

Qehtan Şivan Murad joined the Yazidi resistance units in 2019 “to avenge his people,” wrote the YBŞ in an obituary for the fighter. “From the first day in our ranks to the moment when our companion Shengal Qirani joined the caravan of the martyrs, he performed his duties with conscientious attention. He was a constant source of inspiration and joy and was selflessly committed to his friends.” The YBŞ expressed their condolences to the relatives of Qehtan Şivan Murad and the Yazidi community.
