Fişxabûr Border Gate administration does not allow the passage of wounded SDF members

The Semalka Border Gate administration announced that the Fişxabûr administration, the South Kurdish side of the gate, made it difficult for the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) wounded and people close to the Autonomous Administration to pass. The statement of the Semalka administration is as follows: “Those wanting to cross into South Kurdistan from Rojava for treatment are blocked by the Fişxabûr administration. While the security forces are required to respond to crossing requests within 48 hours, this period can take up to 10 days.

Security forces affiliated with the KDP have so far rejected 106 requests for crossing. Most of the rejected demands were those of people close to the Autonomous Administration or members of the SDF. “Security” was cited as the reason for the rejection.

The Fişxabûr administration prevents the people of Northern and Eastern Syria from going to South Kurdistan, as well as the wounded from the SDF, YPJ and YPG, who were injured fighting ISIS.
