Police take HDP Hakkari Provincial co-chair Özdemir into custody

Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Hakkari Provincial co-chair, Lokman Özdemir, was taken into custody by anti-terrorist teams while he was going to a relative’s wedding in the city centre.

It was not clear while Özdemir was detained. The politician was taken to Hakkari Provincial Security Directorate.

Having learned that Özdemir was detained, the party members set out for the Police Department.
