Minibus accident in Van leaves 12 refugees dead and 20 wounded

A minibus transporting refugees flew into a stockade near Yumaklı, in Muradiye, province of Van.

Health, fire, AFAD and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the accident site. 12 people in the minibus lost their lives. The minibus went on fire when it turned over and firefighters struggled to extinguish the flames. 20 more people were injured and taken to hospitals in Van, Erciş and Muradiye by ambulance.
