Police storm prison, abduct two prisoners in Tokat

Ahmet Darı, brother of Fırat Darı who is jailed in Tokat T Type Closed Prison, stated that his brother called him on Monday and said that their wards were raided by the guards and the police. Accordingly, the guards and policemen damaged the belongings of the prisoners and they also maltreated prisoners who objected to the search.

The policemen came back to the ward after a while and tortured and forcibly took two prisoners, Hasan Ortaç and Mustafa Okçu, out of the ward, Darı said. No information has been received about their aftermath.

Noting that similar incidents have increased recently and that the prison administration will not end this method unless there is pressure from the public, Fırat Darı called for sensitivity.
