No news about a man taken into custody by police in Kızıltepe

According to the information received, a person named Mahsum Demir was detained by police following a raid on his house in Kızıltepe, Mardin.

The reason for the detention was not disclosed. It is not known where Demir was taken. State officials told the man’s relatives and lawyers that Demir was not at Mardin Provincial Police Department nor at Kızıltepe District Police Department.

Concerned about Demir’s safety, his family asked the authorities for an explanation.
