Manbij Military Council foiled attempt by Syrian National Army to enter the area

At around 4 am on Friday morning, mercenaries from the Syrian National Army (SNA) tried to infiltrate checkpoints on the border of the self-governing northern Syrian region of Manbij. The forces of the Military Council foiled the attack in time and repelled the mercenaries. The statement said four of the attackers were killed near the village of Toxar. The rest of them fled.

The SNA is an alliance of various right-wing extremist and jihadist groups put together by the Turkish secret service MIT.
