Demonstration in Rome condemns Turkish attacks on South Kurdistan

Hundreds of Kurds and their friends joined the action that took place on Saturday at Piazza Dell’Esquilino in Rome.

Rifondazione Comunista general secretary Maurizio Acerbo, Democracy Research Center Fabio Marcelli, Leadership Committee spokesperson Giovanni Russo Spena, women’s activist Nadia di Nunzio, Nazera El Gemal from Rete Kurdistan and Amedeo Chiacchieri, Mayor of Rome VIII borough, addressed the crowd expressing their solidarity with the Kurdish people and condemning the attacks carried out by Turkey on South Kurdistan and Maxmur Refugee Camp.
