YJA Star guerrillas speak about the resistance against the Turkish army

The invasion attacks launched by the Turkish state on Zap, Metina and Avashin on 23 April continue and are met by the resistance carried out by the HPG and YJA Star guerrillas.

YJA Star guerrillas, who fought in the front line in the Cenga Xabur offensive, said that they will not let the invaders through fighting with the spirit of Garê resistance. 

Nuda, one of the YJA Star guerrillas fighting against the invading Turkish state, said: “We have been carrying out successful actions against the enemy since the beginning of the Turkish state’s attacks. We will continue to launch our actions without interruption. We are defending Zendura and we will return with great success. The Garê resistance is giving us determination. Everyone should know that we will win.”

Writing history on the mountains

Women are leading the resistance against the enemy. They are fighting a relentless war in the mountains of Kurdistan. One of these female guerrillas is Rojin. Speaking about their successful actions, guerrilla Rojin said: “This area is an area where women and Apoist fighters stay. We will resist the enemy until the end and defeat the invaders. With these actions, we salute the resistance of our comrades in Heftanin, Zap, Avashin and Metina.”
