Gerîla TV broadcasts footage of action carried out in Metina

Gerîla TV published footage of an action carried out by the guerrillas against the Turkish army in Metina region of Medya Defense Zones in southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq) on 23 April.

HPG Press Office issued the following statement regarding the action: “A coordinated action from two sides was carried out against the invaders on Azad Hill in Metina at 6 pm on 22 May. It was determined that 4 of the invaders stationed on the hill were killed. After the action, the invaders bombarded the surroundings. At 9 pm retrieved their casualties from the scene with Sikorsky helicopters.”
