Explosion in a factory in Sakarya leaves 20 injured

An explosion occurred in a factory in Hendek district of Sakarya for an undetermined reason and 20 workers were injured.

According to reports, the explosion occurred in the Oba Makarna factory operating at the Anatolian Motorway Hendek toll plaza in Sakarya. A fire broke out in the factory after the explosion.

While many ambulances and fire brigades were dispatched to the scene, at least 20 people were injured, according to preliminary findings.

The injured were taken to the surrounding hospitals by medical teams.
